MonstroCity Update 1.0.3 Release Notes

Halifax, Canada — May 5, 2017 — Alpha Dog Games balance changes and release notes for update 1.0.3 of ‘MonstroCity: Rampage!’ available on the App Store and Google Play.


Release Notes:

  • New Monster Skins: players can now customize the appearances of certain monsters
  • New and improved battle logs and UI design
  • Matchmaking improvements for battles and Syndicate Wars
  • All players who participated in the winning Syndicate now get a War Crate regardless of individual battle outcomes
  • War Crate now shows up during Syndicate War search

Combat Balance Changes:

  • PFC Panda received a massive buff to all base stats
  • Misty’s HP and Armor received a massive buff
  • Dinky’s Primate Pounce now costs 2 adrenaline
  • Dinky’s HP and Armor have been reduced by 20%
  • Bo Bo Long’s base healing has been increased by 50%
  • Misty’s fog now costs 6 (down from 7)
  • Mortar’s HP doubled
  • Rocket turret damage increased 10% (L2 and up)
  • The Walking Dudes received a significant boost in HP
  • Squishkabob’s base damage and ability damage have been decreased at lower levels
  • Police station’s spawn rate increased by 25%
  • High level police stations will spawn 4 or 5 cars
  • Police do slightly more damage per car

Progression Changes:

  • Monster Evolution Costs were increased for higher level standard common and uncommon monsters
  • Crates found at city hall levels 7 and up now drop more DNA
  • Standard Common and Uncommon Monsters now go to level 11
  • Monster wake costs were increased at higher levels

Combat Bug Fixes

  • Bo Bo Long now acquires a new ally target after she uses her ability
  • Cannon balls no longer seek (this also means sometimes they miss)
  • Turret’s rate of fire now resets when it loses its target
